The Desperate Scousewives are coming to St Helens Theatre Royal from Wed 25 – Sat 29 January!
Thought you knew all about Desperate Scousewives? Think again. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the word of the real Scousewives; where we throw bricks, not drinks, we don’t stick rollers in our hair where Sheila’s fella’s ma might see, our closest ‘scouse brow’ is the one in Everton and the only playground we go to is the one we fling the kids in at the bottom of the road when the brats get annoying.
Seen has teamed up with the Theatre Royal to offer one lucky winner the chance to bring your Scousewives along for a boss night out and take advantage of a fantastic competition to win 4 tickets to the opening night of this hilarious comedy.
This scouse comedy play, written by and starring Lynne Fitzgerald (Four Girls & a Caravan, Bunty the Bouncer) & Claire Bowles (BBC Radio Merseyside) and featuring Lynn Francis (Twopence to cross the Mersey, The Salon) and Phillippa Goodwin (Liverbirds.com) follows the lives of four female neighbours in Liverpool Terrace during the lead up to the jail wedding of one of their number. Throw in a death in the neighbourhood, a couple of battered wives and some comedy dance routines and it all adds up to an unmissable piece of theatre.
