Celebrating Liverpool’s hairdressing sector as a whole, Voodou will be hosting their annual trainee hair competition at the CUC on June 20th, but in true Voodou style this will be more than just a hairdressing competition!

Attracting over 550 people, this event is expected to be unlike any other in Liverpool's calendar. Giving back, Voodou will be donating a percentage of every ticket sold to Liverpool's Give A Child A Chance charity ( Also supported by Radio City 96.7) as well as selling prize draw tickets for our attendees to dig deep and win a host of amazing prizes.

The night will be kicking off with a highly-styled fashion show that will include local brands and be styled by Voodou's very own top stylists, as voted for by the public. Then the competition will begin and the evening will be a showcase of the Voodou Training Academy and trainees will compete in 5 categories to show off their skills.

After some healthy competition for the trainees Voodou will be giving some of the top stylists from around Liverpool a chance to enter into an open competition to show the broad range of hairdressing skills that the City has to offer.

The invitation list will include some up and coming salons from the North west as well as well known success stories of the salon world.

The competitors from the night will gather for a final award ceremony and to round off the evening Voodou will be announcing the winner of our Stylist of the Year competition as voted for by the public. The winner will receive one fantastic prize worthy of our very talented home grown stylist.
