Matt Ford & Love Mode present. The Art Show

An exhibition of Art, Fashion and Music. 6.10.11. 7pm. At Studio 2, Parr Street. Free Admission. Art exhibition continues until 16.10.11 daily.

The 10 day long exhibition includes screen-printed artwork using graphics and photography by Matt Ford and the coinciding T-shirt collection with fashion brand Love Mode.

The Launch party- Thursday 6th Oct @ 7pm, will feature performances by Liverpool’s brightest Burlesque star Millie Dollar and Edgy Rock/Soul singer Cocobelle, who will be previewing her new album.

About the Artwork and T-shirts-

Following the success of Matt Ford’s photographic exhibition, Fashion Outside The Capital- for the Liverpool Design Festival 2010, he is proud to announce his new joint exhibition, with fashion brand Love Mode, The Art Show. 6.10.11. 7pm. Studio 2. Parr Street. Free Admission. The Artwork will be on further display daily until 16.10.11.

The core idea behind the new body of work is a collection of black and white nude images inspired by love and sensuality.

The photographs have been re-imagined into retro-graphic artwork by Matt Ford and Matthew Moore, then developed into one-off and mass produced framed screen prints designs, in addition to the A/W11 Love Mode T-shirt collection. All hand produced at the Blue Coat print room.

About the Artists-

Matt Ford, the Northwest fashion photographer, whose work is on permanent display in The Museum of Liverpool. His credits include photographing collections and advertising directly with designers such as Kirsty Doyle and Phillip Armstrong. His work has been seen National, everywhere from Look Magazine to Elle and Harpers Bazaar.

Matthew Moore, is the founder of the Love Mode T-shirt brand. The sellout debut collection was stocked in Liberty of London amongst other outlets. Matthew is also an accomplished product designer and his contemporary lamp designs were exhibited at last years Design Festival at the “Adopt a Lamp” event in The Hard Day’s Night Hotel.
