THE FEATHERSTONEHAUGHS LAST EVER UK TOUR COMES TO LIVERPOOL - Presented by Merseyside Dance Initiative as part of Homotopia 2011.

Following last year’s successful tour, The Featherstonehaughs invite you to come and celebrate with them as they take to the stage for the very last time with the acclaimed 2010 work, Edits at CUC Liverpool on Wednesday 9th November at 8.00pm.

As part of The Featherstonehaugh's fantastic farewell tour MDI are thrilled to present Lea Anderson with Mary Prestidge in a special In Conversation prior to the performance of the 'Edits'

Choreographer Lea Anderson will be talking about her work and her relationship with still and moving images from her personal collection. In the past 25 years Lea has extensively investigated the work of other artists and filmmakers as sources for inspiration. She has developed unique ways of looking at, and disassembling images, which is then translated into movement. Lea will share what continually inspires her about working in this way. Tickets to this special pre-show event are strictly limited.

The Featherstonehaughs (and all female co-company The Cholmondeleys) have been working under the directorship of Lea Anderson, for over 25 years. They have performed her groundbreaking and distinctive choreography all over the world and past works include Dancing On Your Grave, Flesh & Blood, Double Take and The Featherstonehaughs Go Las Vegas. Challenging and exciting, visually stunning with commissioned live music.
